Poster Presentations at the Conference, Special Sessions, Workshops, Doctoral Consortium and Abstracts Track
Posters will have dedicated sessions on the technical program of the conference where a live presentation will be done. The presenter should prepare a set of slides that clearly illustrate the main points of her/his paper, and make sure the presentation fits well within the assigned time slot of 10 minutes, leaving at least 3 minutes for a period of question-answering. The presentation will be done at an online streaming platform (Zoom) where no account creation is required; a specific URL will be provided in due time for joining the session. On the presenters’ end, it’s required to have a computer with sound, microphone and a webcam. A stable internet connection is also mandatory in order to have a successful presentation. The presenter must also prepare a poster not exceeding the A0 landscape format and upload it at the author’s area in PRIMORIS as an image file (jpg/png/PDF) that cannot exceed 10MB. For the poster, please use an appropriate font size so that they are readable and the message should be clear and understandable even without oral explanation. As a backup, poster authors can also upload a short (at most 7 min.) video explanation of the poster, in the form of a pre-recorded video (maximum resolution of 720p, encoded with the H.264/H.265 codec and with a file extension of mp4/mkv/mov) or a PowerPoint presentation file with embedded audio. This file is limited to 50MB and can be uploaded at the author’s area in PRIMORIS. This video will be used if the internet connection at the presenter’s end is not stable at the time of the presentation. The uploaded files will then be placed in the technical program before the session starts and will be made available to all participants, subject to login.

This video will be used if the internet connection at the presenter’s end is not stable at the time of the presentation.
Demos
Demonstrations can be performed as oral presentations or as part of the technical exhibition. In any case, it is required to avoid a commercial format, even if the demo consists of presenting a business product or service. Instead, the presentation should focus on technical aspects. If the presentation is made orally it will follow the same rules as for other oral presentations (please see above).
